Piece of cake... remove the bottom plate and spring. Look inside and you'll see the pin half way down. I was told to use a long thin screwdriver, angle it in to get on the pin and just give it a couple of good wacks until it lets go, turn the mag back upright and the pin falls out. Reassemble and load it up... you may have to work it a little to clean up any burrs, but it works fine... from what I've been told... of course I have never done it...

I converted 12 magazines yesterday. A long screw driver and hammer is all you need. I does take several hard hits (6-8) to bend the silver pin to get it to fall out. Tested some of them at my range today with no problem. You don't really need the mag buttons, there are mag loaders for these S&W mags.
