We will be holding our monthly ICORE Revolver Match Sunday 11 October 2015 at the Big Piney Sportsman's Club near Houston Missouri. Registration starts at 9 AM.
We are planning on 5 Stages, 2 will be ICORE Classifier Stages, and 3 from my Library.
We have been shooting mostly steel for a while, this match we will be shooting all D1 Tombstone Silhouettes again.
One stage will be: Bianchi 2 Barricade Twist 6 Tgt (12)
Targets T1 thru T6 will be set 12 inches apart. You engage each with 1 round from 2 Bianchi Barricades. Total Round Count 12.
Another Stage will be: Home Rescue 9 Tgt (18)
This one has 3 rooms set up with our Modular Walls. You start at the end of the hall and advance to the first door. You open the door and engage T1 - T3 with 2 rounds each without hitting the Hostage. You move to the second Door. You open the second Door and engage T4 - T6 with 2 rounds each without hitting the Hostage. You reload and enter this room. You open the Door in the Left wall and engage T7 - T9 with 2 rounds each without hitting the Hostage in the third room. A Total of 9 D1 Shoot Targets, and 3 Hostage No Shoot Targets Total round count 18.
Another Stage will be: Running Man Attack 12 Tgt (12)
SCENARIO: As you start to unlock your car in a parking garage you hear running footsteps. You look up and see Two men with knives running at you. You draw and engage over the car hood.
STAGE PROCEDURE: You draw, Engage T1-A thru T6-A with 1 Round each. Reload and engage T1-B thru T6-B with 1 round each.
The targets are set up from 2 thru 5 yards as if running at you. you start from furthest to closest on each string of targets, One Round each.
This should be a Great Match with some Great Weather.
We will have the following Divisions: Classic, Limited, Open, Rimfire, and Snub.
Note: Both Rimfire and Snub will shoot from the holster and reload on the clock, just like all other Divisions.
Note: 5 Shot snubs will not have the 6th shot "Not Available" scored against them. They skip the 6th shot and it is counted as a Zero Down hit. This lets 5 shot snubs compete with 6 shot snubs without a huge disadvantage.
Come on out and play with us this weekend.
