A fellow worker told me that he saw the exact same thing at the Nashville gunshow last weekend. I'll never trade with the dealer who sold those again. I hope no one else does either.

Last week I bought 4 boxes of .380 ACP for $16.95/box.

I wanted to buy all 10 boxes they had but figured this would just add to the hoarding problem. So I settled for 4 boxes.

The gun store I go to gets ammo shipments in everyday. I don't know why ammo is not available at some of the larger internet shooting stores.

The gun store I go to the prices are a little high but not what I would consider gouging.

I get the feeling that there is something going on with this whole ammo thing.

Thank goodness we're not in a big war with Russia or something. Our troops would have to throw rocks or what for 6 months on backordered ammo.

I'm not having a hard time finding ammo at the local gun shops. Granted, it's more expensive than at major retailers but it's there, guaranteed (in my area at least). If I want to shoot I'll pay the price, within reason. $110 for a box of .380 Val Pack is a problem for sure. But actually forking over for it is a bigger problem.
