I've been offered a blued M13-1 at a very good price BUT there are issues.
The lock up allows some slight movement of the cylinder, and there is about .002+ endshake, bore is good and the cylinders are as well. There is no visable flame cutting and the forcing cone is clean. Finish is about 90% and lastly the grips are pachmyers.
My question then, is this gun worth $275.00?

Slight movement of the cylinder is normal. A .002+ endshake is nothing. At that price I would buy it, clean it and put on a right set of grips.

I agree with Dick. That's a good price. It will make a really nice shooter.

That price would be good in Central Oregon. I want a Mdl 13 in the worst way. My buddy Breen has a little 3" blued that is a treasure. A 4" with combat grips would be an excellent choice. For me, the "Uncle Henry's" rubber grips Smith' uses for K frames are just about perfect.

Doesn't hurt to keep your eyes open for the factory stocks, but Pachs may be just fine on a shooter.
