Bought in 1980, never fired by me. Box included.
I'm thinking I'd like to parlay this into a 45Colt N frame.
My question is ..... what value should I place on it?

These usually have a nice blue finish, but the side plate looks like surface rust was removed off of it? Is there rust ahead of the the address stamping? A description to go with the pictures would be helpful. From what I see, 700-750 for a value.

At any rate, you will have to put say another 700 with the proceeds for a nice 25-5 4" 45C

No, I never had any rust on it...before it was in my possession, who can say, but I don't think so.

I purchased two Model 14-3s this year from an on line auction.

The first one shipped in Jan 1971 and included the original box.

Paid $880 for it.

The second one shipped in Jan 1973 and came with original box and tools (still in the plastic bag).

Paid $728 for it.
