148xxx – 150xxx Product Codes are they all “Special”?

SWSC doesn't list all the 148xxx-150xxx product codes as "Special", but it seems more often than not they contain this moniker and most tend to have special features. I'm guessing most of these are runs for law enforcement agencies or distributers like RSR or Lew Horton.

Anyhow if you have a pistol with a 148xxx – 150xxx production code and want to share the unique features, reply to this thread and I can add the information to this list.

Easily by memory I've got one thanks to a heads up from 18DAI. (Thanks again.) I'll look further.

The "only" thing special about is it's a rail free railed version LE order. It's a perfectly/assembled/built TSW with a trigger play spring installed, unlike many of the 4006TSWCHP's. (And others.)

I have a no-rail 4513TSW, 6-round magazines, that I picked up in early 2018. Serial is MSE5844. I didn't get a box, so no label info. It also doesn't have the "stepped" frame/dust cover.
Here are a couple photos and an extra with my other 3d Gen 45's (and the Shield 45 for size comparison.)

I found another one that's not on your list.

It's a pre-rail 3913TSW. It is not from mine but for some reason I saved the picture from when I was looking for one. For ever.

I've included my label for comparison.

I just noticed something that I'm sure many here saw a long time ago.

On many of these the Special Order Number is the last four numbers of the Product Code. Hmmm
