15,000 rounds and counting...

Officerblue, there was a picture attached to the email I received from the forum. If that is a pix of your M&P, what sight is that? It looks more like a red dot for an AR. Thanks, Bill

That picture on the "Ampersand" was of mine (from post #9 of this thread). The sight is a Leupold Deltapoint.

Racking slide

I will wear out long before my 9C will. And maybe by the time I hit 17k on the Shield its recoil spring will loosen up enough that I will be able to rack the slide without having to use both hands and my left leg.

I have arthritis in my hands & have trouble racking the slides on semi auto's. Can anyone tell me of an easy one to rack? Thanks.Catleman:)

A revolver.......... I don't mean any harm, I just beat someone else to it!!!:D (Just joking)

We are ALL getting older! Although I do have revos but not because of any physical conditions, but I'll be ahead of the game when my time comes!!!

A co worker has a Bersa, 9mm compact that I just handled this past Thursday, nearly no rounds through it, seemed to rack pretty easy. I did not shoot it.

??? I didn't attach any pictures. That might be spam or something else.

I don't have 15,000 rounds through ANYTHING.

Omg, I just looked in my reloading log for last year. 14 lbs of powder, 15,400 primers, 8500 9mm 115 gr fmj bullets, 8150 38 special 158 gr RN plated. Not to mention various test loadings.

All used during the 2014 competition season. Practice and matches.

The Forum has a weekly newsletter called the Ampersand. They highlight certain threads. Last week the highlighted thread was the one you started but they used one of the pictures from my post. Nothing nefarious going on. :D

Walther CCP is supposed to be easy to rack due to the unique gas operating system.
