Just recently bought a 15-22 Sport, primarily because of its lightweight and adjustability for my pre-teen grandson to use. I've been looking at the Tippmann Arms M4-22 rifles for a possible new addition. Since so many features seem to be Mil-Spec, these days, I'm wondering if there is compatibility between the S&W 15-22 and Tippman mags? Both offer 10 and 25 round polymer mags. Anyone own both?

Tippmann and M&P15-22 magazines are NOT interchangeable.
1522 mags will work in the Tippmann. They they are a loose fit, but do function.
Tippman mags will not fit in the 1522.......period.
I own a 1522P that has been legally switched to a SBR and I own a Tippmann M4-22.

Thanks for the info re Mags. I guess I'll be buying both brands if I close on Tippmann. Also, when examining an M4-22 Pro and Elite at my LGS, both stocks seemed to rattle loosely on the buffer tube. It didn't matter to what length they were extended. They locked securely but the rattling sound was annoying. Is this typical for Tippmann, or is there a way to eliminate the play? Aftermarket stock (Magpul) needed?
