Check gunbroker to get an idea for an asking price and go from there. It's worth whatever someone is willing to pay for it.

anywhere from $700-$1000 depending on condition and if mags and original box are included.

those are the prices ive been seeing.

I bought my P from a local pawn shop last year, slightly used for $250 OTD. :p

EDIT:
It was the ONLY gun I ever made a profit from. :(

There is a guy by me here in NE PA who has one for sale with original box and only one mag...he says around 200 rounds fired through it. He wanted $750.00 which I believe is to rich (at least for me). I offered him $550 and he went to $700....it is still for sale and has been for the past number of weeks...

I just got Mine about 2 weeks ago at Cabela's... Used Gun room

It was Hardly used and Paid $299.... 1st day they put it out I got it

I wouldnt have Paid $700, or $500, maybe $450, but probobly not... and I have wanted one ever since I realized they HAD made them....

Depends where yer selling it at? who is buying it... and How much you want for it... and how fast ya want it too sell..

Greedy $$$ and it will take awhile ta sell it.... Price it right and it will sell Fast...

Guess ya need ta decide how bad ya wanna sell it;)

I suspect that a number of members who responded didn't see the "p".

The M&P 15-22P is the pistol version that has been discontinued for a few years now. I don't know what they're presently selling for, but good luck finding one for under $600.

Well I certainly saw the "P" and understand that this was the pistol version...
I also realize that since Smith stopped producing the pistol version that this alone has given the once NIB sub $400 pistol a perceived value increase and I am sure that there is somebody out there that will be willing to pay 2 or 3 times what the firearm was originally selling for new but it won't be me...
Honestly I would like one to go along with my rifle version but not for some of the prices I have seen. This is one of those purchases that if the price is reasonable I would pursue but would rather have a couple of nice .22 rimfire pistols such as a Ruger and or a Buckmark for the current asking prices of the M&P 15-22P.
I'm sure it's a fun gun (I love my rifle) but not worth the inflated current pricing some believe this pistol is now worth. Just MHO....

This was my suspicion as well, which is why I asked for clarification. The pistol version for a reasonable price is starting to be like hen's teeth.
