A couple of weeks ago I posted about inheriting my Dads Pistol. I finally got a chance to shoot it today. I shot 18 shots at 1 target and then switched to another for the last 6. It was a stepped off 15 yards. I rested off of the quad seat. The gun will definitely shoot but I will need more practice. It really is a fun shooter. I adjusted the sights for the next session.

I really have no idea what Im shooting. Dads old reloads. 100 of them to burn up. Remington cases and Im betting Sierra bullets. He used them almost exclusively. A jacketed soft point. 6.8 gr. of who no's what. I wish I new. Doesnt seem like a very hot load. I load mine with 4.8 of HP-38 and these seem on par with them. Now there was another box of 50 I shot through the Ruger Blackhawk. Lead round nose. They were hot. +P I would bet. And there is still a box of 357 for the Blackhawk marked at 7.95$ About 3/4 of a box. Not reloaded. I know those were for while He carried the ruger while Deer Hunting.

Jack222, here's my 15-4 that I bought last January, 2017. I also took my Combat Masterpiece to the range. Mine shot very well. Too well in fact. It's now my wife's revolver, since I mistakenly took my wife to the range also. After, she shot "her" revolver, she was very pleased. The gun now resides in the nightstand on her side of the bed. She does let me look at her revolver from time to time. Life does have its difficulties.

Thanks for looking at my wife's pretty Combat Masterpiece. She has since had me put faux pearl magna grips on it so it looks more feminine...and prettier.

God bless,
