As long as you don't make a huge habit of it, yes.

Sight in, fire a few for familiarity, and go back to standard pressure for practice. I have fired thousands of rounds through a variety of J-frames, with no serious after-affects.

It's not likely the 158 gr. Nyclad bullets will expand when fired from a 2" barrel. That's an excellent round, but it's much better suited for 4"+ revolvers. If you like the Nyclad loads (I do), I'd suggest trying to find the 125 gr. version for your snubbie.

Will this load will be ok for carry in my 69 vintage mdl 36?

Almost anything is OK for carry, on the theory that you will never shoot it. The question is how much practice do you intend to do with it. Occasionally, I would not see a problem.

If you can afford to shoot them all of the time, then there are two problems: (1) you have too much money and (2) the gun will wear faster causing various problems which will require a rebuild/ repair sooner than otherwise.

If it were me, I would use the Winchester FBI load (158 grain Lead Hollow Point +P) or the newer Speer 135 grain Gold Dot Short Barrel for carry, only shooting the carry load enough to get familiar with it. Use regular 38s or wadcutters for practice to avoid premature wear on this nice old gun.
