I passed on model 16-4 at the gunshow last week. 99%, box and papers, 8 3/8" barrel, $900 I'm beginning to think I screwed up. What do you all think?

I don't think screwed up is a good thought.
They are hard to find--that is for sure.
Now if you had bought it--I will guarentee that today you would find another for $700--which I think is more realistic.
Not saying you will find one--but I did a couple of months ago.
Blessings

The 16-4's are well made revolvers and worth at least what a current new 686 would run.

Thanks for the info I'm feeling a little better about passing on the 16-4, although it was one beautiful gun.

Did you offer $700? I think it was over valued/priced and you did right to walk at $900. Kyle

I would have passed on the 8-3/8" at $900, just because I don't like that barrel length, too muzzle heavy. Now, if it was a 4" or 6" in that condition with box and papers, $900 isn't far out of the ballpark.

it's not not my favariot barrel...but around here thats about what it would bring...i have a 6"
