This has some holster wear and should be a shooter....now to make some time to shoot

Yeah nice gun,but for all around usage, camping, plinking and such just can't beat a Model 18. Carried one all thru high school hunting and camping. Best .22 pistol I ever owned. That being said I would love to pick up a nice Model 17

Great one. You will love it. I owned three 5 screws over the years and let them all go for one reason or another. Many years ago I walked into one of my small local shops and found a very nice 1948 gun for a ridiculously low price. I decided then and there that this one would be going nowhere. I would love a pre mod. 18 to go with it.

I had purchased my first .22 a model 17-3 in 2015 and picked up a pre model 17 (shipped May 1948) in April of this year.

I guess I need to be on the lookout for a nice 18.
