Tried the usual searches with no results....would appreciate DOB on this new, to me, revolver. 17-3 3K28518. THANKS MUCH.

Made in 1971. 3K numbers went up to 3K31279 that year. Of course, it might have shipped the following year, since S&W did not ship guns in serial order.

The K-22 Masterpiece is a fine revolver. Enjoy it.
