A local shop has a 17-3 that looks to be in very good shape. They want $800 for it. Is that too high? What would be a good price?

I wouldn't give that for it unless it was a variation (like nickel) and came with the box and papers. But, that is me. I'm sure others who crave these .22 targets might go there.

I sold a 17-3 a few months ago that was made in 1964 in very nice shape for $525.
You should be able to find a nice one for under $600 if you're patient.

Yes. An early 50's K22 in mint shape w/box should cost about $800.00. A nice 17-3 should be well under $600.00.

Thanks for the confirmation. If it had been five something I would have bought it for sure.
