Golf Cart conversion to Lithium

A seemingly great idea, but from what I have read, it will be a long time, if ever, before an aluminum ion battery can be developed to the extent that it becomes a commercially viable product. I am all for it.

We might see lithium glass or even sodium glass first.
The problem with these are their projected longevity of some 70+ years of ritual abuse.
Who wants to tool up to make a battery they'll only ever buy one of
