I looked at a 17-3 with box no tools. I would call it 98%. The asking price was $725. This seems very high what do some of you think?

Well they are expensive depending on where you live but I agree with just the revolver in 98% it's $50 to $75 high for around here.

Fair price in SoCal, and when you are shooting it you don't really care how much it cost. The Model 17 is a very fun gun!

I'd think that was high end of retail for a dash 3 WITH original box , grips , tools & paperwork . All the 22lr Smith's are very popular now & I consistently see higher asking prices . Question is how bad you want it & how long's it gonna be before you see a nicer one with all the goodies ? Your money , your call .

You can spend another 100 and get an early
post war pre-17 in excellent shape.
I'd say no-go.

Chuck
