Need some help establishing a price. Model 17-4 with TT and TH. Stocks immaculate. Tiny bit of wear at the leading edge of the muzzle, rest of finish is excellent.

Here is the kicker, it has a push off issue. While cocked, you can push on the hammer and it will fall without touching trigger.

Timing and lockup are excellent.

Comes with box and papers, although cardboard box is a little beat up.

What do you think a fair asking price, shipped, would be.

I tried checking gunbroker values and thy are all over the place. Plus, I am not knowledgeable on how much the repair might be.

Thanks in advance.

Your are correct that asking prices are all over the place... selling prices will be less to much less. Plenty of 17's are out there. I would think $400 and up is a good place to start with the push off needing to be corrected.

That condition sometimes has to do with over honing doing a trigger job, lots of triggers on Ebay. Pretty easy after a while of tracking what sells on Gun Broker for how much. How their sold a factor too, a starting price no reserve verses a poke and hope auction.
