The spacer is a separate part number. Technically you don’t need to use the extension at all in the FPC. I run without them in my FPC and don’t even notice the gap. That way I can put the same mags straight into my M&P full size pistol.
If you want more spacers anyway, S&W customer service must have a part number for them as a stand alone item.
