180 grs. of powder in the .40 S&W???

Sounds like a case stretcher is needed for that 180grain load.

Yup tell him to go to the LGS and get a case stretcher and powder packer.

Now tell me he also wants to get into black powder too?

Where does he shoot at? We need to be a few states away for sure.

This tells me that reloading isn't for everyone.

This guy should have been in demolition. He's a natural.

You got that right.

I been as high as 24.x grains of powder in my 44mag. She barked like a German 88 in my super Blackhawk of course. Do not try this at home I was young, dumb and power hungry.

I am curious how many people reload for others - friends or not?? I have read columns and articles from many well known shooters that state NEVER reload for a friend or for sale, and I have always gone by Murphy's Law - if something can go wrong - it will go wrong! I do not want to be held liable for any failure of the ammo or the gun or the shooter. To me it is a big risk!

Any other thoughts?

Agreed!!

Beyond that, my time and components are too valuable to give away (or sell). I load strictly for my own enjoyment and to keep myself shooting. I'll gladly teach a man to reload, but I won't do it for him. Ya know, the whole give a man a fish vs teach a man to fish thing. ;)
