A friend is selling his dads 19-2 police revolver. As you can see it does not have the correct grips and shows holster wear. He has 100 rds of 357 ammo included. He has it priced at $450.00. Fair deal?

Yes. With the ammo you are getting the gun for under $400. Not bad at all. Do the other usual checks of course, forcing cone, lockup etc. but a shooter model 19 I would buy it without a thought.

Looks like nice worn utility gun. If in good mechanical condition, I can see no reason $450 isn't a good deal. Would make a great shooter and carry piece.

Nice 19-2! I picked up one last spring in a used condition holster wear but looked like it had not been shot much. These are great shooters and at the 400 you paid a super buy!
