My 4” 19 came back from the gunsmith today.
Now a fully pimped 3T red ramp, white outline.
Ballistolled and waxed.
Works of art.
Too nice to shoot, but I will.

That one is eye candy for sure. Like an idiot I sold my 4-inch Model 19 in the early 90's; wish I had it back.

Both my 19-3s are definitely shooters and both are former police guns. The blue one is finish worn but still fine for me. No rust. The other is hard chromed who knows by whom and the frame markings polished off - no address or logo. Both are awesome shooters.

When I was a cop, a favorite Service Revolver of mine was the 19 with 3Ts, RR & WO. It just had a premium appearance.

That one is eye candy for sure. Like an idiot I sold my 4-inch Model 19 in the early 90's; wish I had it back.

I did the same. Best revolver I've ever owned, I think. Had a set of grips on it that had to be pressed into place to fit perfectly...some kind'a plastic, but boy were they comfortable. However, a little financial need, a little pressure from a friend, and an impending divorce... whaddaya gonna do? And they sure don't finish 'em like they used to!!
