Found an older M-19 need some help

I tried to take a phone pic. They asked me not to.

That alone would make me not buy it. A cell pic wouldn't have hurt anything.

I agree $600 is too much. I think it would sell at $450-475 to someone who knows Smiths. A novice might pay the $600, I don't know.

The gun shops in my area have signs on the door, no pictures and no video allowed. I think a part of it is that shop owners do not want someone to potentially use video or photos to plan a robbery.

I can see video, but pics? C'mon!

A pic of the gun isn't the same as a pic of a security system, IMO. I'd be going to a better shop, IMO.

I pretty much shoot the 27-2 for 357. I've never shot the 19-3. I also have a really nice 66-1 4 in. I was looking for a shooter 19 because it is going to be a dedicated truck/car gun...so I have little use for a really pretty piece. I live in Wy. dirt roads lotsa dust. My wife's truck gun (Ruger BH) has taken a bit of a beating over the last 20 years and I'd rather she had a DA revolver anyway. She carries around the ranch and on the 4 wheeler...coyotes and snakes ya know...have seen two wolves the last couple of days too. Big fire(180000 acres) on the other side of the mountain probably making 'em move

If she has been carrying a SA revolver for 20 years, she's probably going to fire a M19 SA as well. It takes a fair amount of time and effort to fire a DA revolver accurately.
