Recently picked up a 19-3 and could use some advice. It has a ramp front sight with a red insert. However, it doesn't look like any red ramp insert done at the factory. Kind of a poor job. Actually, when I first looked at it, I thought it just had red paint on it. Then, after trying to clean it up, noticed it's a plastic insert. Anyway, my question is if the sight blade on the 19-3 is removable and could be replaced. I'd like to have this done at the factory but would hate to send it to them only to have them tell me after looking at it that they couldn't do anything about it. I looked at it with a magnifying glass and didn't notice any pins holding the front sight but I'm just not sure. Anybody know? Thanks.
