Stopped in my LGS right at end of the day, always go straight to the little used case. They just took in a model 19-4 6" with the three Ts, target stocks, red insert on front sight. Only pistol, no box. Condition is very good, action is slick. They are asking $700. It has me conflicted. I purchased a 14-2 6" from them last year for a song, it cleaned up to be the most accurate S&W I own. I already have a 19-5 4" that I slicked up and really like. If I take out the looney desire to just buy it, the practical side of me doesn't see it filing a niche in my collection. TIA

If you want a six inch 19-4 $700 seems a reasonable for a nice one as described in what I call "very good condition." It would likely be found where I shop tagged at a Benjamin or two more than $700. Good luck.

$700 for a nice P&R 19, even a 6" is a good price. That said, I am not into six inchers, so I'd leave it for someone else to bring home.

I am letting it marinate. They just took it in on consignment and weren't in the mood to "dicker" yet on it. I would have walked out with it in a sec at $500-$600. Maybe if it sits a while, if I miss it I won't be too upset.

It did get me looking at 27-2s late last night though. I decided that is one that I NEED to have in my collection so I am going to focus on that for now

Every time I do that the gun sells to someone else while I let it marinate. I hope you are luckier than me!
