My 19-4 of 1980 from Italy
Greetings
Ciao e benvenuto da Virginia al nostro portico ! Vieni a sederti per un po ' e goditi la compagnia.

Very nice piece; it looks all business. I'm sure if you come around here again, somebody will have some nice wood stocks for you.
Would you want magnas, target or combat stocks for that?

Thanks for sharing that beauty with the rest of us.:) I like those synthetic grips on that business gun. They look like they would feel great in hand. My business 19 snub almost always wears non factory grips for shooting and carry comfort.

With wood Ahrends:

... with rubber Uncle Mikes:

From your recent posts Gabriele, it sounds like you are rounding up all the available S&Ws in Italy! Good for you! The Model 19-4s come in a shiny version, too! Mine (33K1035) is a little earlier, 1978. The stocks on your 19-4 are nice, but a vintage pair of wooden stocks would be sweet. Buona caccia!

For centuries the Italians have been designers and manufacturers of quality firearms, so I'm not surprised that there are quite a few S&W revolvers in the country. They truly appreciate fine guns! You have a nice collection of vintage boxes, as well as a growing family of fine S&W revolvers. Now that you have been bitten by the bug, it will be interesting to see which direction your collecting takes you. Divertiti!

Nice piece, Gabriel!
To my mind, the 2.5" 19 is the most desirable iteration of the 19 family tree. It's the paternal twin of the 2.5" 66-1.

A mighty fine group of 19's and 66's fellas. Mighty fine indeed. Now I have to go get the 3" 66 out of the safe and pet that for a while. Enjoy...
