1903 32 HE.

I know it's been over 3 years since I've been online, but i just picked up a 1903 32 HE. serial number 157577. Its been buffed and renickled. I saw it in a pawn shop and could not pass it up. i gave 300.00 clams out the door. The small emblem is there and the cartridge designation is faint. the other markings on the barrel are gone. It still locks up tight and on time. Can anyone give me date of birth or shipment?

You have a Model of 1903 5th Change, which was serialized from 102501 to about 263000, with about 160499 manufactured circa 1910 to 1917.

It most likely shipped from the factory in 1912.

Thanks all! I knew someone here could help. now the only thing I have to do is repair the stocks where they are chipped out in the bottom by the grip pin. I like repairing things so we'll see how this turns out. Again thanks and I'll not be so long in checking in again.
