There are several makers. There is a "Wild Bunch" match that the" Single Action Shooting Society' sponsers.Dillon's "Blue Press" always has one in their leather section & C.O.W.S. has them in their catalog as does El Paso Saddlery. There are a bunch out there.

Yep. Here's one made for me by forum member Dave Keith (keith44spl). In my opinion, this is about as cowboy as you can get with a 1911 rig...right down to our family's brand.

Snubby,

I think those are probably Chicago screws, at least the ones on mine are.

Yep, Iggy is right. Dave made it that way so that it's totally adjustable. There's another hole underneath that billet so I can move it if need be.

When a guy is in the saddle summer, fall, winter and spring, his wearing apparel, or at least the thickness of it, is going to change considerably. I asked Dave to make it so that when I don my long johns, wool shirt, wool vest, and heavy wool mackinaw, as well as a pair of full-length shotgun chaps, I'll be able to adjust the belt rig so that it will still fit.

Dave knew exactly what I was talkin' about, him having been there, done that, and gotten the t-shirt. :)

Mule Packer, looks like somebody kinda "scribbled" your family brand up alongside your 1911 too.
And I ask; is the two snap pouch just behind the 1911 grip frame for an extra mag ? I like it being in line, (horizontal) with the belt if it is; also appears to be movable along the belt if needed.

The O P got his answer I hope. (Before I went to "drifting" )

Rog, you got it right. The snap pouch is for the extra mag and can be moved along the belt to whatever position is preferred. Dave was the one who suggested the horizontal mag pouch, and I'm glad he did because I really like it.

Actually, the 1911 shown in the picture belongs to Dave. I have to admit, it's a beauty. He took the picture before he sent me the rig.
