I love my new 1911 Performance Center but at the range I can't see the sight dots with my "old" eyes. I'm looking for a replacement sight that will not radically change the look of the gun but easier to acquire the target. I have looked around but can't find anything out there. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Aging eyes sometimes tend to do better with the Big Dot style sights - Big Dot XS, Trijicon HD, etc or even upgrading to a Fiber Optic front sight can make all the difference in the world.

Then there are dioptic rings - not practical for CCW or PD generally but for range use and practice can be helpful...

I use Ameriglo I-Dot Pro's on my EDC, which is a Trijicon HD front sight with a single, smaller less bright rear dot. I have standard Trijicon's on most of my other handguns, which work well for me. I tried the Fiber Optics - the TFO's but just didn't care for them. Plenty of people love them though.
