Hello all,

I've now one handgun more, a sw 1911 pistol (45acp), i am 3rd owner.
Is it possible to know the year of manufacture with serial number,
mine begin with UCZxxxx ?

If you got the original box with your's, the date is stamped on the end label.
I have a SW1911PC serial# UCZ9767 that has a date of April 13th, 2016 on the box end label

Given your serial # is higher than mine I assume its safe to guess the 101515 is the date on my box.

(my # is UCZ3794) I don't have the original box, but with yours informations i can estimate it was manufactured in 2016 (thanks)

An other question, i can see your SW1911PC is a performance center model ,mine a classic (not E serie) but we have the same serial letters ?

The serial numbering is not model specific. There would be several different 1911 models with the UCZ serial# prefix.

That being said, what time period was the serial number stamped in vs how it is now? I remember seeing a bunch of guns when I did a google search on E Series Sc before I got it.

I don't know. I noticed that style of of bordered serial#'s prior to my purchase of my SW1911PC pistol and was pleasantly surprised to see mine without it. It wouldn't have mattered to me if mine had it or not, but I prefer the clean look. I'm not sure how they are stamped currently.

That's weird! I was trying to date my SW1911E. It serial number is UCZ9762. Just 5 numbers off from 824tsv's SW1911PC. Im guessing mine is also a 2016.
