1911s to CMP proposed

Congressman Rogers wants CMP to get 1911s. I will be surprised if it goes anywhere but would like to see it happen.

Not going to hold my breath. The army has a boat load of shotguns to but the mandate says .30/.22 cal rifles only?

I'd like to see this happen.
An old bullseye shooting friend of mine bought his 1911 hardball match gun from NRA sales (preceded CMP) for $15!
I think if CMP gets 1911s, they might be a little bit more....
