Anyone remember 'Quicky' it was a grapefruit flavored soda. Also, remember the metal soda cans with the cone shaped tops and screw off caps?

After my father returned from WW2, he and my uncle started a bottling plant.
Their first product was Squirt.
I literally grew up in that plant. Can still recall every detail of the process.

They added Dr. Pepper soon thereafter:

I remember having to bootleg Squirt into Virginia as late as 2010/11-- you could not find it here. Now you can. It is about the only one I have run across that taste like it did in 1957.
