1966 Serial Numbers

In 1966 I bought a S&W K22 model 17 and like a dummy I sold it in 1968. I am going to a private auction soon and in the auction there is a Model 17 K22. I do not know the serial number of the K22 being auctioned nor do I know the serial number off the one I had. I need to know the beginning and ending serial numbers of the model 17 K22 for 1966 so I can at least determine if it is at least the year of the one I had.
Any help would be appreciated.

K600xxx to K700xxx should get you a 1966 K22. Smith's were not shipped in serial number sequence, but this is as close as you will get.

I was born in 1966 and have been keeping an eye out myself. Its very likely to be a 17-2

Serial Number for K22

I have finally got serial number from the seller but he told me the S# begins with an RXXXXXX I am thinking that he misread that and it is really a K can anyone confirm that a 1966 K22 only had a K in the S#
