Yeah boy!

Always thought those 6-inch Model 10 variants were considered a common barrel length but they sure don't turn up very often. They are a fine way to do .38 Special and an elegant antithesis to a paltry .38 snub. The .38 Special is so much more than a cartridge fit only for a 2-inch barrel.

The 4-inch Model 10 Heavy Barrel still has to be one of the most useful handguns on the planet.

I was just shooting my 6 inch Model 10 this morning. They get better the more you shoot them!

If one looks long enough and hard enough, there are still good deals out there. I have “too many” Model 10s now, but I would have a hard time passing on one like yours for “2-fiddy.”

I'm looking at a 10-7 that has little signs of wear. It has aftermarket grips and no box. SN 8D559xx and 6 in pinned barrel . it's at an auction and I hope I can get for less than $250
