Ok this was an impulsive retirement gift to myself I bought it March 23 of this year. However it’s just too nice to turn into a frequent shooter, I have other .44s for that. Plus I just bought a motorcycle so….lol.
The gun is in very nice condition with the exception of 2 very small imperfections and wear on the original right grip panel. I found period correct replacement grips here and that’s what it’s wearing in today's photos. It comes with the presentation case though the molded bottom has a couple cracks and typical flocking wear. The prior owner glued/taped a couple of the more egregious cracks. It comes with all the original papers and a proper tool set I was gifted. No other boxes came with it. I put 50 rounds of factory new 44spl 220gr tmc Ammo Incorporated through it.
I will ship the case and original grips directly to the buyer and the revolver will come in a hard case ffl to fill. $1350 includes all shipping, insurance on the revolver is extra, no trades. Zelle is the only electronic payment, usps only money order or I will accept a personal check from established members. If I’m out of line on the price-it’s what I paid-we can discuss. Also available in the South Denver metro area at my preferred dealer, fees included. Thanks very much.
This thread is from when I first got it, shows the original grips and the imperfections:
I just got lucky is really what it came down to. The majority of their used stuff is plastic fantastic with the occasional high end 1911 (usually Wilson). They have a late 70s beautiful 4” Python that’s priced too high in my opinion as it’s just the gun wearing Pachs, no original grips or box for $2500. Been there about 6 months at least. A...
Not sure why it doesn't go to the first post in that thread.

Congrats! I have two questions. How do you find a gun like that at a local gun store? If I see one they want double what Gunbrooker wants and it sits there for two years. number 2 how much? I paid $1,900 for my 4" MINT box, box, paper, tools.
