Very nice. I just acquired a 3" -3.
I know little about +Ps, as all I've had before are .357s., and I've always shot standard pressure .38s or magnums.
If they accelerate wear, I'd use them sparingly, just enough for occasional practice to make sure they shoot close to point of aim and cycle your SD ammo.
Speaking of Buffalo Bore, I had a couple of forum members recommend their wad cutter round for SD. They're quite expensive. I consulted my Lyman #46 manual and as I suspected, a 148-grain wadcutter can be loaded to just over 1,000
FPS while staying under 17,000 PSI (below +P pressure.)
BTW, 1983 would make it a -3. A -2 would likely have a pinned barrel.
