Anyone need their stainless semi autos touched up? I'm an experienced metal finisher and I have been tweaking my blast media mixture to match what S&W used at the factory and I'm real close. I did my 4506 last night and it looks amazing. the color is a shade or 2 more grey but still looks amazing. I use a different blend on the slides from models that came with an aluminum frame that leaves them a little brighter. The media I use is softer than what the factory uses so it retains the original grain, its just blending in any wear/scuffs. I will continue to tweak my recipe to get it perfect.
