Oh! The Huge Manatee! I don't recall ever having this many cattle through thr chute-ever. We got there a little after 10 and the stream was in full swing, even though "Boss man" upped the admit to $15. There were new S&W revolvers in attendance; If'n I was new to it I'd have a hard time choosing between a 3" Model 629 and a 3" Model 63-? 8shooter. Both were priced at $999. 4" Model 19-? "classic" was a hundred$ less. There was a new 8 shot 627-? for $1200. Most curious was the inability to locate a single 5 or 6 shot speedloader, revolvers are near "extinct" I guess. Doc's bud bought the Sig P365 "2 tone" from Khaled for $429, a bargain I might have bit on if'n the wait for 4473 processing wasn't 2 hours. Unlike last show every seat was filled. Khaled was making so much $$$ he was smoking a Cuban early in the day. $399 AR's, low end flat tops were everywhere as were $499 Glocks. One tableholder tried to have one of each and must have covered 3 8 foot tables. Yeah, I'm going an extra $100-$200 for a "weatherbeaten" or "Trump" Glock as soon as the turnip truck slows enough for me to jump off. After 4 hours walking Doc says "Let's try the new "French Fry Trailer." $35 for 2 fries, no drinks. After waiting half an hour well, live and learn.
Last item; it's great to see 2 large rooms filled with folks, half of whom don't know muzzle from butt, waving firearms in all directions going "pew-pew" while exercising their 2nd amendment rights and probably voting against said rights come November. Signs and wonders. Joe
