I would like to say hi. Just signed up yesterday. I am a retired submariner and a retired technology teacher. If possible, I would like to identify the model of weapon I have. I have .38 s&w, 6 shot, nickel/chrome plated 2" barrel revolver. On the cylinder and frame butt c125951. On the left side of the frame with cylinder out A 34527 and a symbol that I am unable to discern (looks like a backward p). left side of barrel .38 s&W special. Right side of frame is Info S&W Springfield MA and the S&W logo.
Wondering the model, year made, and if I can use .38 Special +P ammunition. Right now, I do not have the ability to send picture. I will as soon as I can.

Welcome to the site!

Check out the S&W Revolver forums... there are lots of folks there who should be able to help you with identifying your revolver.

Welcome Aboard.

When you get a chance, go to the lounge and give us some Submarine stories.

I have done a fair amount of SCUBA diving, so I am comfortable under the water, but...
I was in a WWII Submarine once, and I was impressed with what must have been the bravery of those guys...

And that bravery, and comitment to Duty, extends to the "Modern Submarine Navy", where they stay under water for Months.

I would love to here some stories.

submarine background

26 year submariner. 20 years of sea duty. 1 wwii sub for two years and 4 fleet ballistic missle subs. for 18 years. I participated in 25 missile deterrent patrols. Yes I do have some stories and maybe will get the courage to share them. bb
