I have a new 2.0c, and if I put on either of the bigger grip extensions (the ML or L), they seem to "pinch" the frame and cause all of my mags to hang up when trying to eject, particularly an unloaded one. Hopefully I'll never need to reload in an emergency, but ... Anyone else have this problem? I wanted to ask before checking with S&W.

I have the same issue with the L grip. Haven’t tried small or medium to see if it is a different outcome.

There is an obvious difference in the stiffness of the L and ML grip panels as compared to the S and M ones if you try to take the two sides and spread them apart. I took my L and ML panels and “stretched” them apart and now the mags drop free.

About the only thing that could be causing it to hang up is the rectangular shaped piece of the backstrap the frame tool goes through to lock it in place. Run your finger over it when it's installed and see if it's flush with the frame inside the magwell.

It actually happens without the grips in sometimes. Now it seems intermittent; I can't figure out what is causing this.

I had the same problem with the large grip, and I thought it was the square-shaped plastic connector that was hanging up the mag, but it was recessed too far to have affected the mag.

I heated the backstrap a little bit with a hair dryer, then stretched it open a bit, and now the mags drop free without any issue.
