2.0 FDE slide take down lever

got mine just less than a week and of course im always practicing stripping. now i noticed the slide lever is scratching my FDE. is there any way i can prevent this?

the problem is i shoot at least once a week..

Those are not scratches. They're character marks. This is the life of a pistol that gets used. It will obtain more.

That's a problem that I wish I had. I'm lucky to get out once a month.

Between shooting it 52 times a year and the part in your original post where you mention "practicing stripping" you are going to see wear wherever parts move and/or make contact, no matter how much you lube it.

Just the nature of the beast.
