walkin jack
US Veteran
Well I kinda feel like that 2,000 posts is some kind of plateau. In my way of thanking y'all for puttin' up with my blabberin' on 2,000 different occasions and also to pay back the members for my good luck in winning 3 different karmas in my 20 months amongst ya (more than I've won in all the rest of my life combined) I would like to post up another karma thread.
The item up for grabs on this'n will be a pair of Bell South walkie-talkies. Batteries not included. See pic below.
I've had them for a long time but they have had very light use and they haven't been used for several years. I was unable to find the original packaging or owners manual but I put batteries in them and tested them out and they work fine.
They each take 4 AAA batteries. To program the channels hit the "menu" button and scroll up or down with the buttons on either side of the "menu" button. the numbers will flash. Push the "menu" button again to lock in the channel. I left them both programmed for Channel 3.00 The button you push to talk is the lower button on the left side of the unit as it faces you. It has a call button and a jack for the ear bud (couldn't find those either.
Great for camping or staying in communication with others when traveling in separate vehicles as well. Kids have a blast with 'em.
The time begins when I post this thread and will end at 2:00PM CST one week from today on March 25th.
To be included just post up on this thread that you want in and your name will be tossed into the proverbial hat. I already have a bunch of numbers made up from my last karma so I'll just toss them and any additional numbers needed into the hat and Miss Pam will once again do the drawin'. I'll post up the winner as soon as the drawin' is done.
Good luck to all!
