I saw a cosmetically really nice looking 64-2 X 2" in a case today. Almost no turn line. Did not ask to see it. 899.99 dollars. Marked PPD 95. I take it to be Providence Police Dept with the 95 being an inventory number.

What is it worth?

IME, dealers offering what are in many cases "surplus" 10s and 64s pay very little for them, WA-AY under $100. Agencies look to unload such guns ASAP. They take up space and must be secured. Condition is often iffy. Agencies are not finicky about price. Unless it's an LNIB, I'm reluctant to go over $400. My unfired-but-carried casino 64s ran me $275 and $300. And please don't inform me about the "market." Know all about it...;)

Overpriced. I picked up one of these in surplus condition for $300 about a year ago, granted it did have some pitting under the rubber grips that cleaned up ok. I put a Wilson spring kit in it and it’s one of my favorite knock around pistols to carry and shoot. I also use it as a testing gun for my 38 special handloads I’ve been working up!
