I buy a quite a lot of flashlights and accessories from this website:

Your premium source for outdoor gears - Andrew & Amanda

They put one flashlight on sale every day, marked down 20 to 35%. It's called 'deal of the day'. Good for 24 hours. Then they put another flashlight on sale, or some accessory like a lithium ion battery charger.

Shipping is free on orders over $25. A very low threshold.

Right now, EVERYTHING on the website, except for Zebralight products, is 20% off with the code:

febuary20

Valid until Febuary 10

I know: 'February' is misspelled. I assume the misspelling works.

If you register on their website, they will send ONE E-mail per weeks with specials, new releases, and what I like: a list for the following week, showing the 'deal of the day' for the next 7 days.

I own mostly Nitecore flashlights. Never had ANY trouble with any of them. Not once. My experience with Fenix flashlights is that a LOT of them have lower grade LED emitters that are both an ugly shade of green, and don't deliver anywhere NEAR the claimed run time.

Jetbeam makes some of the nicer, feature laden flashlights. They tend to cost a bit more than Fenix and Nitecoe flashlights, but they are nicer flashlights.

Nitecore flashlights tend to more on the cutting edge of new designs and features. I like them a LOT.

Not familiar with that site but it seems pretty good on first glance.

I will say this...the headlamp they have as the deal of the day today, the Nitecore HC-30 is an awesome light.

I have the "neutral white" version and have been using it for several months both in our local woods and for nightly dog walks. The price they are offering the light at is excellent.

If anyone is in need of a light, comfortable headlamp, this one is highly recommended.

I have a Nitecore EA41 in both my vehicles and one on the breakfast bar.The one on the breakfast bar also does duty reading fine print and gun inspection.

I like the 4xAA power and max 1020 lumens in a compact size.

They work well with normal AA alkaline or my rechargeable eneloops

I don't see any intrinsically safe flashlights on their website. Living in a house with natural gas, and driving jeeps that run on gasoline, a flashlight that doesn't blow us up is far more usable than a tactical one.

Interesting website though, thanks!

EDIT to add: That they cannot spell common words makes me a little suspicious.

Why do you buy so many flashlights? Are they going bad on you?

Ever since I was a child, flashlights fascinated me. There were no streetlights at all for many years when I was growing up.

I asked for a flashlight for my 10th birthday. I still have it, and it still works. An EverReady Captain, that uses 2 C batteries. But they didn't give me any batteries, I had to buy them. The old carbon zinc batteries didn't last long at all. And for a 10 year old, thy were extremely expensive.

My parents never gave myself or my brothers any money. Never. I had to earn it. When I was 10 years old, they ONLY way I could earn money was by raking leaves, or shoveling snow. I remember waiting for the leaves to fall.

But I digress. Now is a GREAT time for flashlights. The LEDs keep getting brighter, and delivering more run time. So there are brighter flashlights, ALL the time.

The guy who owns the website is an immigrant. I've talked to him on the phone. He's a really nice guy. I did not recognize his accent at all. Not even which continent he game from, and of course I would never ask him

I have seen at least one on the website. I think is is a Nitecore,

I live in a natural gas house, and my car runs on gasoline. I'm still here. But I can understand your concern.

Found it. I typed 'explosion' into the search bar. There a 3 variations; I don't know the difference between them.

Sounds like something my neighbor's nag of a wife would ask. ;)

----------

Got several flashlights. Like guns, they have different designs and uses and some guys like to acquire them.

Wife's EDC is a Streamlight Stylus Pro in her purse and Olight keychain. She has a Surefire G2X Pro in her get home bag in the van.

My EDC is a Surefire Titan Plus. Got a Malkoff MDC in my get home bag in the truck.

For the kitchen drawer there's a Surefire G3 with a Malkoff M61LL drop-in conversion. What a great home utility light that is.

In my office I've got a Streamlight Stylus Pro.

Since I no longer have a dog to walk, the Surefire P3X is now in the bedroom.

I purchased a Malkoff MDC HA because I didn't have a high quality single AA light and believe there is utility in having at least one AA flashlight.

Got a Surefire XC1 on my Glock 19.

I really like my EDC. Slips right in the watch pocket of my Levis.

Ah, I suspected that from the types of misspellings and grammar errors.

My question as well. I keep four Fenix PD32UE lights in rotation around the place, use them about a full hour every night on high beam and have had zero issues.
Looks like a decent site, thanks!
Yeah, I definitely wouldn't consider them to be subpar in anyway in terms of lighting or run times...in fact, if any company out there had the highest rate or failures and complaints it would be Nitecore.
