So with an E-ray, can you ride in the carpool lane by yourself, or will you be to embarrassed.

I have seen a couple questions on insurance cost. It's was very close to my wife's Silverado 2022 which my plain C8 which was very close in cost for insurance cost and drive out after taxes cost. Wife's Silverado $62K and my C8 $65K out the door. I have since sold it due to road construction in my county. I was very lucky when I sold it after two years and 25,000 miles I only lost $2,500 including taxes. You may not like the C8 but it's a sports car workers can afford.

Given a choice with a gun to my head I'd go with the Tesla.

The C5 will never do 0 to 60 in 2.5 but it is a very comfortable ride that will scoot.
