I've never seen a Colt 22 conversion unit w/the split 2 piece slide like that.

But IIRC, Pachmayr used to market one that was built like that and was made in (W) Germany.
Seems like it was available for other pistols as well like the H/Power and Model 39.
Maybe this was a R&D piece for those units or another 22 Bullseye conversion.

Just going by memory,,which isn't what it used to be..

The advantage arms target model is a split slide like that. but I never saw a colt ace unit like it Randy

It's made like the Marvel conversion. The Marvel is top shelf stuff.
 
Looks to me to be a very early Kart conversion.Early ones were made from Colt conversions.Also seems to have a Bomar rib sight.Neat piece.Try calling Fred Kart.I talked to him about 2 years ago about my Kart conversions and found him very helpful.I think he is still with us. Just Google the number for Kart manufacturing.
