22-4 thunder ranch

I love the 22-4s. I have owned three of them but they are gone now. The old buy, sell, trade routine. got the best of me :(.

Other than a name does Thunder Ranch have a specific meaning regarding the design of a group of models or is it a specific model? They do look nice.

I think Thunder Ranch is some sort of combat/ self-defense/ gunfighting school.

I think that Clint Smith of Thunder Ranch wanted S&W to revive .44 Special and .45 ACP revolvers. I can live with the TR logo on the grips of my 22-4, but that gold shield on the side plate of the 21-4 .44's is a bit over the top.
