Picked this up recently to replace the one I foolishly sold a few years ago. I was happy to find it, as S&W aren't currently producing these. Not the best pic. I think the gloss finish works well with the shine of the grips (Altamont).

You're a lefty! Cool, love the 22-4, they are good shooters and the quick reload is priceless.

Wish that model would have been around when I was drivin a beat and packin revolvers of choice.

Glad you were able to score a replacement 22-4 for the one you let go!

I lucked into a Thunder Ranch model last year which makes me look like a Combat Master every time I shoot it. Would make a perfect duty gun, but mine sees range use only.

I had one that I loved, my Chief Deputy traded me out of it so he could use it to shoot in pistol matches....and I got a 21-4 in 44 Spl in exchange. The 22-4 and 21-4 are great duty handguns, and I am/was pleased with both of them....of course I disabled the lock....but that doesn't detract from the accuracy or usefulness of these fine handguns....

The first order of business when a new manufacture S&W comes into the house, is the removal of the nub on the locking tab.
