I wish S&W Would manufacture .22 Caliber versions of the Model 638 & Model 649 bodyguards.
Think about this folks lots of people like the S&W Bodyguard aka humpback Revolvers very much.
But they find that the recoil that the .38 special and .357 magnum catridges these guns are chambered for.
Generates recoil that can be painful or unpleasant for them.
So if S&W Manufactured .22 caliber versions of these same revolvers the people who like the design of the gun can shoot it.
because the .22 caliber cartridge generates a lot less recoil than the .38 special and the .357 magnum.
