Last source of the traditional CB Caps I'm aware of was RWS. Imported from Germany and very expensive, was @ $45 a tin a couple years ago. CCI 22 CB Longs and Shorts are fairly available. The local Walmart has the CB Shorts in 100 pack boxes on the shelf for @ $13. Other than that you can sometimes find the old style ones at the gun shows now and then. I have bought several tins (RWS and other brands) at area shows over the last couple years.

Colibri is a Long Rifle case with a CB type bullet. Very low powered, actually closer in power level to the old CB loads than the CCI shorts & Longs are. I still have a small stash of it but haven't found any for sale recently. If the OP could find any they would work fine for most uses. They were too long for the cylinder on a S&W Model 1 I had and I did have one stick in a 22 rifle that I was function testing into my bullet trap. Never had an issue in other rifles, just that one but I usually check the bore after each shot in a rifle if I use them.

Depending on what you are using the CB caps for you might be better off with CCI Quiet. Very quiet and a lot more accurate in my guns.

cci has a wierdish plastic type coating on the lead, it burns and stinks like a walmart plastic grocery bag. They do not like cold weather. Im talking can easily get 6-10 inches of drop at 20 yards when the weather goes under 32-25

longs feed in anything, my semi auto likes them. easy hand cycling.

aquila, well those things SUCK. absolutely suck. Had batches that the bullets would seam to turn to dust in the barrel. and well, they dont penetrate a raccoon skull at 10 feet.

I've got some CCI CB Shorts. I must have bought them during one of the 22 shortages a few years ago. I didn't realize they were the CB ones until a week or so ago. I had tossed a box of them in the range bag figuring "might as well shoot them". Out of my Heritage Rough Rider with the three-inch barrel I was surprised just how quiet they were. I was wearing my regular earmuffs, but they made a "pop" about as loud as a cap gun. Maybe not that loud. I could hear them but that's about it. Recoil was nothing. About like I remember my old "Fanner 50's" having. But those things were accurate. The RR is no target gun, but it was stacking those little bullets into a one-hole group at five yards. Other than punching a hole in a piece of paper, I got no idea what they'd be good for, but they were fun. I've still got a box and a half of them. I might have to get some more. I think I saw them listed at Bud's if that's of any help.

Check your local Walmarts ... Bass Pro / Cabela's and even Gun Shops .
Walmart are even starting to carry reloading supplies .
My last CCI CB Shorts came from Walmart but Cabela's and Bass Pro usually keep a good stock .
If you can't find it On Line ... try old school Off Line Stores !
